Stop the atrocious experimenting on monkeys

Monkeys whose skulls are hacked, resulting in their brains being exposed, for years kept against their will to be used in the most atrocious experiments… Science fiction? No. Daily reality for monkeys in animal testing laboratories.

In Belgium, the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL) is the largest user of monkeys in science. So in the KUL Gasthuisberg laboratory monkeys are used for the most unnecessary and outdated tests! The monkeys which are confined here are used over the course of several years for neurological tests.

How is it possible that a university which places the word 'catholic' in its name has such a lack of respect for other living beings? Picture the fear, the suffering and the pain of these animals.

The Anti Vivisection Coalition is not against scientific research, but feels that it must be carried out in a modern, respectful and ethical manner. For this reason we require a total prohibition on the use of monkeys in testing facilities!
